FL1 Armchair

The FL1 is the original Frontal Lobe statement armchair. Inspired by the humble football, it gives a clever geometric nod to the cocoon chairs of the 50s. 

The FL1 combines principles of mathematics and mechanical-industrial design with luxury fabrication and craftsmanship. It is engineered using interlocking hexagons to form an ultra comfortable structure, then padded with thick 80mm high-density foam for ultimate comfort.

The structure is built from 18mm birch plywood supported by a powder-coated steel subframe and black anodised aluminium hardware. It is mounted on a custom-designed double-bearing smooth 360º swivelling base.
