With the usual Frontal Lobe nod to timeless mid-century style, the FL3 delivers an undeniably industrial edge, shamelessly wearing its construction on the outside with black powder-coated metal pipe fabrication and cast iron fittings and a white oak wooden structure. 

In keeping with Frontal Lobe’s ethos, the design of the FL3 is timeless and intergenerational, and it is crafted with 25mm furniture-grade birch ply to stand up to the demands of New Zealand commercial and residential use. It is upholstered in soft distressed oiled New Zealand leather – available in tan or chocolate – that only gets better with time.

The FL3 is the perfect juxtaposition between bold, hard structure wrapped around plushy, soft leather cushions with raw New Zealand wool filling. It is the perfect statement piece for modernist, architectural homes, loft apartments and corporate spaces.

The FL3 is made to order – and available to view – at the Frontal Lobe showroom and workshop at 22 Stanley Street, Christchurch. Allow an eight-week production time; delivery available nationwide.
